KNOW THE SIGNS
Don't Ignore These Warning Signs
Persistent Tooth Pain
A deep, throbbing ache that doesn't go away — especially when biting down or applying pressure. This often signals infection deep inside the tooth.
Sensitivity to Hot & Cold
Lingering sensitivity that lasts well after the food or drink is gone. This may indicate nerve damage inside the tooth.
Swollen or Tender Gums
Swelling, tenderness, or a "pimple" on the gums near the affected tooth. This could be a sign of an abscess forming.
Tooth Discolouration
A darkening or graying tooth may indicate that the nerve inside has been damaged or is dying.
OUR PROCESS
What to Expect During Your Root Canal
01
Numbing & Comfort
We fully numb the area with local anesthesia. You won't feel pain during the procedure — most patients say it's no worse than a standard filling.
02
Removing the Infection
We carefully remove the infected or damaged pulp tissue from inside the tooth, then clean and disinfect the root canals.
03
Sealing & Protecting
The canals are filled and sealed. In most cases, a custom dental crown is placed afterward to protect the tooth and restore full function.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. Modern root canal therapy is performed with local anesthesia, making it as comfortable as a standard filling. Most patients feel immediate relief from the toothache that brought them in.
Most root canals are completed in a single 60–90 minute appointment. Complex cases may require a follow-up visit.
In most cases, yes. A dental crown protects the treated tooth from fracture and restores full biting strength. We’ll discuss the best option for your situation.
An untreated infection can spread to surrounding teeth, the jawbone, and even other parts of the body. The tooth will eventually need to be extracted, requiring a more costly replacement.
Costs vary depending on the tooth and complexity. Root canal therapy is typically more affordable than extraction plus an implant or bridge. We offer direct billing and flexible payment plans.
